7-3

I looked over my blog from the last week and realized that I did not post anything on Father's Day. So, my philosophy is - better late than never. I have (I think) the best dad in the world...so I couldn't let the day go without acknowledging that.

In honor of Late Father's Day, I have to tell a little story. Tonight I asked my dad if he wanted to go fishing with me out back. He agreed and I told him, "I'm going to catch more fish than you." This never happens. I think he took pity on me by using the old rod and reel, catching only 3 fish. While I used the fly rod and caught a personal record of 7.

So, because my dad rocks, I had to share some pics through the years...

Always a daddy's girl. I have no idea what the thing on his face is...other than a little scary.
Mom just told me that she gave him an ultimatum over that - either shave it or sleep on the couch. He shaved it shortly thereafter. :)

Deep sea fishing in Florida after a red tide. No contest here, neither of us caught any fish!

Drop off at the airport before he and Mom left for Alaska.

Last year in the Smokey Mountains.
Happy Father's Day a bit late...but heartfelt nonetheless.
I love you, Dad! :)
