Feeling High...
...on paint fumes! This weekend was a productive one. Here it is in a nutshell:
Friday:
Meet Mom at Lowe's and pick out paint for my bathroom and bedroom. (I said something in my "tour" in November about there being too much yellow in my place!) Go home and consider going to bed around 9pm. Instead, paint my bathroom.
Saturday:
Go shopping for baby shower gift with a friend. Go to Mom and Dad's, help start putting up a suspended ceiling in the basement. Go shopping for a movie that is not on sale yet. Go home and start painting my bedroom...many hours later, finish and crawl into bed, breathing in paint fumes all night. (What can I say, I really like my bed...and the window WAS open.)
Sunday:
Wake up with headache. Head to church, turn around halfway there and go back home. Move furniture back to its place in my room. Go to church for real this time. Go to baby shower for my cute pregnant friend. Come home, Dad tells me my bathroom floor is rotting. Go for dinner, go on a drive with Mom. Come home, lesson plan, do laundry, and blog.

Wow, that sounds great-but tiring! Great job painting! What is a suspended ceiling? And yes your pregnant friend really is cute. :)

Where do you buy your paint with the great color names? And do you base your paint choice more on color or the name? I thought I was a color girl until I liked one and it was called dungeon wall...as if I could actually paint a room in my house that color once I had name knowledge.

It's Lowe's, luckily I can read so with a quick review I had my answer. Is that where you buy all your paint? Surfin' USA blue is of special interest!

it does tend to be where i buy most of my paint simply because it is right down the street from where i live - easy access. :) and i have to say that the name of the color certainly plays a much bigger part in my choices than it should!! i tried to go with ocean themes because i miss it so much...:)
