The North, the South, and the Sick
This summer, I am planning a road trip.
I plan to stop and visit friends in these states:
Indiana
Pennsylvania
Tennessee
Virginia
South Carolina
Georgia
Alabama
After suffering through a long, harsh winter
One that isn't even over yet
I'm not so sure I'll bother to return to Iowa
I've determined the only good thing about this weather is:
1) A white Christmas
2) No school because of snow days
Yesterday I went to the doctor
She told me I have strep throat
I've been on drugs ever since
And I thought to myself
If I lived where it was warm
And where I could get fresh air without freezing my lungs
I bet I wouldn't be so sick
So after a nice stormy day, I hoped for the day off today
But to no avail, so I now have 2 days taken from my road trip
I really might not come back.

Ironic that Alabama is the last place you have listed...I happen to know of an extra bedroom waiting JUST for a friend who is wanting to relocate here!

A-hem. I did not see Missouri on the list. What is up with that.
Also, just so you know, KC is at least 10 degrees warmer than Iowa. I haven't had to defrost my car all year, nor wear mittens. Well, I think I wore mittens once actually, during our one two-day cold spell. And I will be planting my garden very soon, last year I planted over a month earlier than I ever could have in Iowa & was harvesting all the way into November! It is awesome. Think about it. :)
I LOVE YOU!! :) Miss meliss

Georgia is lovely. (Even if we do want to return to the Midwest.) And if you don't move here, I do expect you to visit occasionally since you won't be a student any longer (and you won't have a good excuse.) ;-)
