So the other night at work, we decided to order Chinese. Since I am falling back into my old ways of "picky-ness" now that I am back in the States and can be picky, I just went with a chicken and beef satay skewer. That's beside the point...so obviously I'm not one to believe in fortune cookies, but I do think they are fun...and yummy.

I opened up the cookie and laughed when I read this (secretly hoping it would be true!):

"Your dream will come true when you least expect it."

Now isn't that fun? Ok, so I should have stopped there, but I was having a particularly sweet sweet tooth that night...things went downhill after that one...

"Listen these next few days to your friends to get answers you seek."

Now my friends are pretty wise, so that wasn't so bad...but then there was a fortune cookie still sitting on the table the next morning and I decided it would be breakfast along with my glass of milk.

"You should enhance your feminine side at this time."

Hahahaha...so we all know that I'm not your typical "girly girl" but even this "somewhat of a tomboy" knows when to call enough enough. So though there were more fortune cookies on the table when I left work today, I decided that we were just in a downward spiral and that I had better stop while I was ahead.

Side note: a buddy of mine stopped over today and I showed him my new purse that I bought in Charleston...he laughed at me and said, "Yeah, its much better than your other one...but I think I need to go shopping for one for you still!" Hey, I tried, but I guess I have a ways to go in this "enhancing my feminine side" thing. :) Hehe.
