Tonight I needed a break from my work and so went out to run/walk a couple miles. At the end of it, I was gazing up at the sky and was struck by the creativity of God. I mean, really, who would have thought to hang stars there to awe us each night? It is an evening directly from our good Father...perfect stillness...one of those nights when if you just sit and listen, you can hear the creation talking...the big dipper and orion are shining brightly...and there is just a peaceful calmness that encircles the area. I heard a train go by and it brought a smile to my face. I love hearing trains in the distance...reminds me of my grandparents house when I was younger. What a perfectly still night...and what an amazing God to give such a lovely gift.
